Facilitating digital printing
A specific piece of furniture for the pre-printing environment
The project in this case was the realization of proposals for the creation of a piece of furniture for the operators of HP Indigo large format printers.
The project in this case was the realization of proposals for the creation of a piece of furniture for the operators of HP Indigo large format printers. HP Indigo digital large format printers are designed to accelerate the growth of the flexible packaging industry. We also participated in the manufacturing process of one of them.
Workplane Design and HP
The North American multinational HP established itself in Catalonia in 1985 in a workshop in Terrassa where it manufactured graphic plotters. When the space became too small, in 1990 the directors chose the current location in Sant Cugat (Barcelona), where some 2,300 workers (on staff and external with the Outsourcing system), work with the bases of innovation, ambition and talent.
This HP headquarters in Sant Cugat. It was our main client since 2005 and with whom we grew by expanding services as they were requested from the Customer Experience, Engineering and Marketing departments.

Comply with the characteristics set forth in the briefing. Maintain HP styling to match the printer. Consider ergonomics for the operator and reserve spaces for electrical connections.
Despite the fact that the proposals were not carried out. It did help us to strengthen HP’s contacts, as this project was for the Israel headquarters, who were pleasantly surprised by the speed with which we presented the proposals and the team involved in them.
